Vice President Zhao Wenzhang Headed a Delegation to Attend the 39th Annual Meeting of African Development Bank Group
June 15th, 2004 | CHEXIM WebsiteAs invited by African Development Bank, Mr. Zhao Wenzhang, Vice President of the Bank, headed a delegation in late May 2004 to attend the 39th Annual Meeting of African Development Bank Group held in Kampala, Uganda. The Annual Meeting this year discussed 2003 Work Report and Financial Report of African Development Bank Group, reported the economic and social development of Africa in 2003, and held key-topic seminars on strengthening the internal cooperation and improving poverty reduction within African continent. China Eximbank Delegation attended the opening ceremony on the morning of May 25th as an observer. During the Annual Meeting, the delegation arranged individual meetings with finance ministers of Zambia, Zimbabwe and Cote d扞voire respectively. After the meeting, the delegation paid visits to Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria.
